1) What kind of a group do you want? Referring to the number of musicians and instruments desired for the event under consideration. For example do you want a flute? Do you anticipate dancing?
We consider the basic performance team to be the quartet: two guitars, mandolin, bass, and of course vocals. We can add or (reluctantly) subtract musicians to fit your needs.
2) How long would you expect us to play?
We generally perform for three hours, taking a 15 minute break each hour. If we play less than this, the price is still the same, but if we play longer, other arrangements will have to be made.
3) How many people will be attending your event? And how large is the venue?
Large events may require us to arrange for more sound equipment than we generally bring. This is an extra expense both in set up time and in money.
To hire the quartet for a three hour performance is $600.
